Snipercraft 2010

The Georgia Tactical Officers
Association (GTOA) will hold its 2010 conference in Macon on March 8
- 10. The conference will be co-hosted by the Macon Police
Department and Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
More than 150 law
enforcement officers affiliated with SWAT teams across the state
will participate in the training sessions, seminars and vendor
shows. The conference is the GTOA's sixth
annual conference but the first one held in Middle Georgia. The
location was made possible by the cooperation of the training
divisions of the Macon Police Department, Bibb County Sheriff's
Office and the Warner Robins Police Department.
Many
community businesses have acted as sponsors, donating money or
supplies to make some of the training events possible.
The conference will
focus on LAW ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE training including ANTI-TERRORISM
topics. Because of the nature of the training, the conference will
not be open to the public and/or the media.
However, members of the
media who wish to cover the event can be escorted to a variety of
training sites to photograph or videotape a variety of shooting,
explosives, medical, and ground fighting training.
The Warner Robins Police Department is
hosting a Tactical Vision Class in part with Snipercraft,Inc. May 3 -
7, 2010. Please see the following information about
class description and
registration.
