Teleserve

Teleserve has had a vital part in coexisting with the Patrol Division to take reports for citizens over the phone since 2005. The primary goal of Teleserve is to serve the public in an expedient manner and to alleviate the necessity for an on the scene response by officers for selected calls for service.

Authorized Calls for Teleserve
  • Damage to Property (vehicles, buildings, etc.)
  • Criminal Trespass (unwanted persons, damage, etc.)
  • Information concerning child visitation times
  • Damaged mailboxes
  • Hit/run accident reports/striking fixed objects (un-occupied vehicles only)
  • Traffic accidents that have already occurred
  • Automobile burglary
  • Credit card fraud/theft
  • Forgery/counterfeit
  • Lost/found/recovered property
  • Harassing communications
  • Identity theft
  • Information
  • Computer crimes
  • Adult missing person (only if a non life threatening situation or has serious medical conditions)
  • Terroristic Threats
  • All types of thefts
  • Storage bin/building burglaries
  • Burglary at construction sites
