Entry Level Assessment Center
The Warner Robins Police Department utilizes a  formal assessment center as part of the selection criteria for entry level police officers. As an assessment candidate you will participate in a series of exercises throughout the course of the entire day.  The candidates will be observed and evaluated on their performance in each situation with reference to a number of characteristics important to the role of a police officer.  Each assessment center begins promptly at 8:00 A.M. and lasts until approximately 5:00 P.M.  Appropriate business attire is required for entry into the assessment area. Candidates who do not meet the prescribed standards will be dismissed from the process. If you need additional information contact the test administrator.

Evaluation of Candidate Performance

Totally Ineffective
Performance completely unacceptable. Improvement required in every aspect of job performance.

Needs Much Improvement

Performance poor, with definite improvements needed, and is clearly below an acceptable level. Improvements required in nearly all aspects of job performance dimensions.

Needs Some Improvement
Performance only marginally acceptable. Performance requirements only partially met in certain areas of job performance dimensions. Specific areas of improvement indicated.

Satisfactory; Adequate
Performance acceptable but rarely top-notch. Performance on dimension consistently at at normally expected level.

5

Effective
Performance at very high level.  Demonstrates unusual proficiency and very good ability.  Performance frequently, but not always, exceeds normally expected standards.

6

Outstanding
Performance clearly, consistently, noticeably outstanding.  Demonstrates extremely high degree of proficiency.  Performance is top-notch and always far exceeds normally expected standards.
