Animal Control Division
The mission of the Animal Control Division is to enforce state laws and city ordinances pertaining to animal control and care, provide housing and humane
care for impounded animals, find homes for adoptable animals, educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and humanely destroy unwanted animals.
The facility is licensed and regulated by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

Ordinance 17-09
(a)Any person adopting a dog or cat from the Warner Robins Animal Shelter shall have the animal sterilized by a licensed
veterinarian within 30 days after acquisition of such animal in the case of an adult animal or within 30 days of sexual
maturity of the animal in the case of an immature animal; provided, however, the requirements of this section shall not apply
to any privately owned animal which the Warner Robins Animal Shelter may have in its possession for any reason if the owner of
such animal claims or presents evidence that such animal is the property of such person.

Please note Animal Control does not accept personal pets.
