City of Warner Robins
The City of Warner Robins was incorporated on September 1, 1942.  The City has a rich history that has evolved itself into being the 7th largest city in the State of Georgia.  Robins Air Force Base, which is the largest single employer in the State of Georgia,s is located just east of the City.

The demographics of the City of Warner Robins from the 2000 Census has the population at 48,804.  The total landmass is over 34 square miles of Urban, Residential, Commercial, and Rural landscape.  The City serves as a diverse culture of peoples from around the globe, as it has become known as the "International City."

Becoming a Warner Robins Police Officer

1.  Take and pass the Compass Exam.  The exam can be taken at
Middle Georgia Technical College

2.  Once the test is successfully passed, take test results to the Training Center and complete the
Pre-Application process.  Once completed, turn in the application to the
Human Resource Department, located at the Warner Robins City Hall,
along with a copy of the applicant's valid driver's license. 

3.  After the first two steps are successfully completed, the applicant will take the Physical Agility Test

4.  Applicants who successfully complete the Physical Agility Test, will be eligible to take the Entry Level Assessment Exam. 
This is a timed written exam that tests basic skills of reading and writing. 
It also measures a variety of other skills.  This test will be completed the same day as the Physical Agility Test.

5.  Upon successful completion of the Entry Level Assessment Exam, applications will be issued an in-depth background package. 

6.  An interview with the Chief of Police and Command Staff following the successful completion of the in-depth background check.

7.  A conditional offer of employment pending the results of the following series of screening tests:
Polygraph
Psychological Exam
Medical Physical Exam
Drug Screening
Alcohol Screening
