W.R.P.D Physical Agility Test

Physical Agility Test Starting Point
All candidates begin the agility test seated in a police vehicle. The vehicle door is closed and the candidate's hands will remain on the steering wheel until told to begin.

W.R.P.D. Obstacle 1
The first obstacle the candidate will encounter is a six foot chain link fence. The candidate is only required to successfully negotiate the obstacle using any available technique or form.

The second obstacle requires the candidate to navigate through the barrier utilizing the "low crawl" technique.

The third obstacle requires the candidate to negotiate a simulated window. The candidate may utilize any technique or form as long as they successfully navigate the obstacle while maintaining control of their issued equipment.

The fourth obstacle requires the candidate to successfully identify a suspect based on a general description. Candidates are provided the suspect description prior to the start of the course.

Candidates complete the course by successfully moving a 125 lbs dummy a distance of 15 feet after sprinting 60 yards. Candidates must maintain control of all issued equipment throughout the duration of the course.
